So far things have been going well in my new internship. I love my supervisor, she radiates positive energy and really demonstrates the type of care that I’d wish more people in her field had.
Hell, I wish I could be as positive as her.
I’ve started meeting with people today and it’s been a little awkward if I’m being honest. There’s still this weird disconnect between what I want to say/portray and what actually comes out of my mouth, but, I think we’re getting better. Once I become more established I think I’ll be able to talk to everyone a lot more smoothly.
I think what I’ll do from now on is talk to them in my customer service voice lol
Other than that though it’s nice getting more established in this new stage of life. I don’t know how it’ll feel once I do this and work at the same time but hopefully I’ll be able to manage.
Overall, I’m excited for what’s to come.
